Yasmine Gabr, MD, graduated from Argosy University in Phoenix, Arizona, with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and earned her medical degree from Spartan Health Sciences University School of Medicine in St. Lucia. She then completed her residency at William Beaumont Hospital in Grosse Pointe, Michigan, serving as a resident mentor.
In addition to her family medicine training, Dr. Gabr has completed advanced training in pain management and clinical training for Nexplanon®. She is also certified in advanced cardiac life support, advanced life support for obstetrics, basic life support and the National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale. A member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Medical Association, Dr. Gabr has special interests in women’s health, including annual exams and prenatal care, implantable and intrauterine device insertions and removals, endometrial biopsies, and colposcopies. She also has experience performing routine office procedures, such as cryotherapy, joint injections, skin tag and mole removals, splinting and minor wound suturing.
